Provide students with knowledge, skills pertinent to health education to be used raising health awareness of individual, group, family, and community toward changing their behavior and attitude to be healthy.

By the end of the course the student should be able to:

A1- Define concept of health education, state objective of health education target.
A2- Describe scope, job of health education.
A3- Develop program for health education (planning, implementation & evaluation)
ب- المهارات الذهنية:
 
B1- Formulate objectives.
B2- Formulate specific plans for health education to meet consumers' needs.
B3- Develop health education plans to address consumers health problems at all levels of prevention.
B4- Select health promotion program to meet consumers' needs.
B5- Plan of change conducting to the improvement of healthier behavior.

C1- Use a range of assessment techniques to identify relevant determinants of health.
C2- Implement health teaching and counseling program to individual groups of consumers according to needs.
